ROBOTO Masters of the Universe

Hello,Family and friends….sharing today Roboto concepts for Master of the Universe under the direction and vision of Directors Adam and Aaron Nee …when they brought me on to work with them what they wanted to always do first is some very rough silhouette and color sketches to get a rough look down before I got into 3d and detailing….here u can see we started very close to the original and then things kinda changed down the line as u line up all the characters seeing how we can push Roboto silhouette and have her graduate in her original look by the end of the film and as each sequel would happen she would get closer and closer more humanoid with clear materials like the cartoon….the idea with this design is that when u first see her she’s looking very imposing and intimidating visually and then we hear the soft voice in contrast would add a nice humor to her as the story unfolds and they go on there journey …next post on Roboto will b her battle mode design where the amazing artist @coliewerts helped concept…we were lucky to have his input on her…:)…….luckily this concept made through to Travis Knights film and happy to see her come to life on screen ….everyone involved did a great job and she is a lot of fun in the film ….:)…..more to come ….humbly thanks
