Early Skeletor Concept Masters of the Universe

Hello,Family and friends…..posting today early Skeletor concepts for Masters of the Universe when I was working under the direction of directors Adam and Aaron Nee vision…in there version of the script Skeletor had a armored suit from head to toe similar to that of Vader …we explored many many options before landing on this design I will share later….to help save money and move the process faster I would work in 3d so we can pass the approved model to vendors like ironhead studios who would of built his suit and also Mattel for toy production…I was very lucky enough to have a small team and very talented artists who worked similarly in 3d and could also sketch as well when needed to explore many options @jsmarantz and @lucanemolato….we were the creature design team …we worked closely with costume designer @annfoley and her team to help realize these characters …amazing talent @maybellepinada would take my files do her kool process of detailing our patterns and also sigils for each character to give them there own language and history …Ann and her team would add that extra detail to help each character have more depth in that 2nd read as a close up……we all had a blast on MOTU and everyone involved …..loved the movie Travis Knight and his team did and the nostalgia they kept true in the film….congrats to all involved …love it all …….ALLOT more to come ….humbly and kindly thanks
